WE HAVE A DAUGHTER!!!!!

AUBREY (MEI AI YING) IS FINALLY HERE!!!!

We received the call from our agency today that we have a beautiful daughter. She was born on Spetember 6, 2006. Pictures and more information will be arriving to us on Tuesday July 10th, so check back!! Our agency did say she has a little bit of peach fuzz for hair and she is very petite. We can't wait to see her.

Her given name means the following: Mei... is a family name often given according to the city she was found in or the caretakers last name. Ai... signifies love, and Ying..... translates to clear stone.

She is in the province of Hubei which is located in southern China.
We should be travelling right around her first birthday to bring her home....we can't wait!!!

The Monges Family: Our Story to Bring Aubrey Home

We invite you to join us on our journey to Aubrey. We are so excited to bring her into our forever family and we look forward to sharing this journey with you.

For many, many years I have always wanted to adopt. In March of 2005, I took my husband and our son (who was 3 1/2 at the time) to an adoption information meeting. It probably took my husband about a minute to realize what had been in my heart for so very long...adoption was meant to be- for me, for him and to complete our family. And so our journey began.

A little girl waits in China......... for our love. A little girl we call Aubrey

We say LOVE is thicker than blood
